Why are so many webcomics and deviations and journals and shit about people killing babies?! I just read a webcomic where part of the joke was centered around a guy snapping a tiny baby's neck!

God, I guess I'm just way more sensitive now that I have a baby brother of my own, but I don't get what it is...I understand that not everybody wants children, but there's no need to do shit like that!

Alright, quick updates:

1. Stage crew will be called for sometime in January
2. Saw Variety Show DVD--I think Suzanne and D.J. were the best, but neither of them made it (that I know of) into the assembly which is consisted of the "best" five acts. Suzanne's song that she and her friend Ryan wrote together was beautiful, and D.J.'s song that he composed was awesome! (Dad agrees with me that they were the best)
3. Not sure if I've said this yet or not, but I broke up with my boyfriend last month...guess that's good, since I really don't think we were going anywhere. (Like getting to know each other better)
4. There's gotta be something else, but I can't think of it now.
5. Oh yeah, they changed the malaprop skit...we've been cut down to 8 cupids, but I'm still Goth Cupid. Whoo!
6. Kelly and I are nearly done ((one more thing!)) with our final film project for CommTech--a month early!

Guess that's it, so I'll go and get a shower now...need to finish Christmas shopping.

I'm going to go for stage crew!

Only mishap?: One girl tells me "Oh, we have all the help we need. We've got people standing around backstage, doing nothing."

I ask my teacher, and she says: "What?! They could always use more help!"

Uh-huh. I thought so. So, I'm going to talk to one of the teachers about stage crew, hopefully next week. *Crosses fingers*

So in malaprop players this week, we were talking about doing a short play for Valentine's Day ((it was too late to do something for Christmas )), and we decided to do the 46th Annual Cupid Reunion--each of us has to be a different cupid. We've got Geek Cupid, Ghetto Cupid, Goth Cupid, The Seven Deadly Sins Cupids, Corporate Cupid, etc.

I am Goth Cupid, ha! Fear my Gothness!

Unfortunately, I can't go to our school's show this weekend...it's kind of like a talent show, with a lot of different types of acts. And I can't freakin' go!! AARRRGGHHHH!!!

*sigh* Suzanne's in it--she and her friends wrote a song; she wrote the music and they wrote the lyrics--and D.J.'s in it, too...I think Suzanne said he composed a song.

I asked him if he was going to be in it, and he said yes--I told him I really wanted to go, but I probably couldn't ((the church is going to play laser tag that VERY SAME NIGHT, and the show's ONLY ONE FREAKING NIGHT!!)). We kind of agreed that it's dumb the show's only one night ((by "kind of agreed", I mean we never said "yeah, that sucks", but it was implied in our tones, sort of)), and he said he's the second act.

He made a '2' with his fingers and was all like "second!" and I laughed and wished him good luck. He thanked me, and we parted ways.

Still. It was all good
